Today I write this letter to you.
I write this letter to you and for you. For you, to learn about my vision, belief and my why.
I believe that in 50 years from today, the society will be different.
In 50 years we will live in a society that is respectful, loving and supportive regardless of a persons sex, age, gender identity, ethnicity, cultural background, religion, race, sexual orientation, location, nationality, disability status and any other way that we as human beings are diverse in.
I believe that in 50 years the society we will live in is going to be a world where everyone is treated with respect and dignity, where no one is discriminated against or oppressed, where people of different cultures, religions, and backgrounds coexist in harmony and mutual understanding. A world where love, support, and kindness are the norm, not the exception. A world where every person has the opportunity to pursue their dreams and passions, to develop their talents and skills, to contribute to the common good and the well-being of the planet. A world where every person has a safe and comfortable home, a healthy and nutritious diet, a quality education and health care, and a fulfilling and meaningful life.
This is the world I envision. A world where humanity has overcome its challenges and conflicts, where we have learned from our mistakes and embraced our diversity, where we have cooperated and collaborated to create a better society for ourselves and for generations to come. A world where we have achieved peace, justice, and prosperity for all.
This is not a utopian fantasy.
This is a realistic and attainable goal. And it is within our power and our responsibility to make it happen. With Together-notAlone movement being just the start of it.
Is it going to be easy? No.
It requires a lot from and of us.
It requires to act with courage and compassion, to think critically and creatively, to communicate effectively and respectfully, to work hard and smart, to share and care, to learn and grow, to inspire and empower.
It requires a change.
But most importantly, it requires us to be the change we want to see in the world. And to take action today.
I believe in this vision.
I believe in humanity.I
